About the catalogue
The archives held by Wandsworth Heritage Service cover the present-day London
Borough of Wandsworth, and the pre-1965 metropolitan boroughs of Battersea and
Wandsworth. Among the collections are letters from the poet Edward Thomas, who
once lived in Balham, and many records relating to the development of the
borough. The collection spans over 500 years, with the earliest item dating from
1490, and the most recent from 2009.
The collections also include:

Battersea, Clapham, Putney, Tooting, Streatham and Wandsworth
