DescriptionThe big sheet is signed by Bill McLaren and has notes on the reverse. It has four sections cut from it comprising information about Scotland's players and replacements. It is accompanied by a programme, notes introducing the match and cuttings from The Scotsman, the Glasgow Herald, The Times, the South Wales Echo and other unidentified newspapers, as well as a Western Mail Wales v. Scotland special supplement. One of the cuttings is a report by Bill McLaren on a match between Wales and England held on 17 March 1979 entitled 'Wales lose J.P.R. but still keep their title.'
This match was part of the Five Nations Championship. The score was Wales 17 - 6 Scotland. The big sheet records:
