DescriptionThe big sheet is signed and has notes on the reverse, including the comment 'What a day!' above a schedule of events. It is accompanied by notes, a programme, newspaper cuttings from the Scottish Sunday Express and unidentified newspapers concerning this game and the later match Australia v. Ireland at Sydney Cricket Ground on 13 May 1967. One of the newspaper reports on the 25 February 1967 game is by Bill McLaren. The bundle also contains a letter from Fred [?] to Bill [McLaren] congratulating him and discussing the Irish, Scottish and English rugby teams, 7 Feb [no year].

This match was part of the Five Nations Championship. The score was Scotland 3 - 5 Ireland. The big sheet records:
