DescriptionThis bundle contains a black and white photocopied version of the full big sheet, with three further photocopies of the middle section. It is accompanied by:
- Notes, including an introduction to the game that mentions the presence of the Princess Royal, descriptions of the match and score, names and phone numbers and information about players.
- Programme, including an article about trips to Dublin for the Irish game entitled 'Happy days, rare characters and joyous nostalgia'.
- Cuttings of player details from a big sheet.
- Sheet of statistics concerning the match issued by Unisys Information Services for Sport.
- Cuttings and pages from The Daily Telegraph, The Sunday Telegraph, The Times, the Sunday Independent, The Herald, The Scotsman and other unidentified newspapers. One of the pages contains an article by Bill McLaren entitled 'Tackling their problem'. As well as the 20 January match, the cuttings also cover Ireland A v. South Africa and Ireland v. Samoa.
