DescriptionThe big sheet is signed by Bill McLaren and has notes on the reverse. It has three sections cut from it comprising information concerning the Welsh players and replacements. It is accompanied by notes, including an introduction to the match and score sheet, an account of McLaren's expenses and an annotated programme signed by McLaren. The bundle also includes cuttings from The Observer, The Sunday Times, and other unidentified newspapers, as well as a full Western Mail Wales v. England special supplement. One of the cuttings is a report by McLaren entitled 'Edwards the match winner'.

This match was part of the Five Nations Championship. The score was Wales 14 - 9 England. The big sheet records:
