TitleBig sheet and bundle, Ireland versus Wales, Lansdowne Road, 24 March 1990
DescriptionThe big sheet has notes on the reverse concerning the match, including comments that this was the '1st ever Wales Whitewash' and that Mullin and Kiernan wore the wrong jerseys. It is accompanied by an annotated programme, notes, including an introduction to the game, a match itinerary and cuttings from The Times, the Irish Independent, the Glasgow Herald and other unidentified newspapers. Two of the cuttings are by Bill McLaren; one is an article entitled 'Turnbull proves that Scots possess the right balance' and the other is a match report entitled 'Wales pushed to first whitewash by Irish scrum'.
