ActivityLock / Y ail reng, played for Cambridge University RUFC, Neath RFC and Wales (1964-1969, 21 caps, 3 points). Known as a forward enforcer during a playing career which brought three Five Nations titles, was the architect of Neath’s domination of Welsh club rugby in the late 1980s and early 1990s when the Welsh All Blacks were crowned Welsh champions four times and won the Welsh Cup twice. At their height Neath also frightened the life out of a strong New Zealand team before losing 26-15 and they also ran Australia and South Africa close at The Gnoll. Later a legendary coach for Neath.
