She took excerpts from Pulteney's list; Dr Baker gave the list to Dr Pringle and spoke well of him. Watson left a letter at Lord Shaftsbury's relating to Pulteney and has been promoting his interests among friends and acquaintances with connections in the neighbourhood of Blandford. He is glad that Pulteney has been well received there. |
