Title | Sir William Watson, London, to Richard Pulteney |
Description | He has received Pulteney's list and will make best use of it in his power. He has recommended Pulteney as physician to a lady resident in Bistern who in the past sent to Salisbury for medical attention. Saw Mrs Montagu last week; she was pleased at the General's reception of and behaviour towards Pulteney. She took excerpts from Pulteney's list; Dr Baker gave the list to Dr Pringle and spoke well of him. Watson left a letter at Lord Shaftsbury's relating to Pulteney and has been promoting his interests among friends and acquaintances with connections in the neighbourhood of Blandford. He is glad that Pulteney has been well received there. |
