Rector of Shalden, Hampshire, 1765-1777, rector of Gotham, Sutton-Cum-Lound, and Scrooby, Nottinghamshire, 1777. Travelled with Thomas Pennant in Scotland, 1772, with Sir Joseph Banks in Wales, 1773, and in Devon and Cornwall, 1774.
