Description
Correspondence, 1932, 1945, 1952-56, 1958-61, concerning the granting of two licences to Mr. R.S. Clifton for use of each of the premises (50 and 52/53) as a garage for private cars with living rooms over; the decision to take steps to terminate the unauthorised user of Keltie's Garages Ltd; the contravention of user by Vintage Autos; the granting of a licence for user of the ground floors of 50-53 as a motor service garage and the upper floors as residential flats, and to regularise breaches of covenant; the interest shown by a development company in the freeholds of 50-53; the injury to a postman on the iron staircase of 50; the surrender of the leases of 50-53 back to the Commission; the making of a tenancy agreement with Mr. K.H.M. Jack of one year's duration; complaints from neighbours regarding the noise of work in Mr. Jack's garage; Mr. Jack's breach of covenant; the vacation of the premises by Mr. Jack (and by Mrs. Anderson at the first floor of 50); the sale of 50-53 to Mr. P.R. Lane.
