2 Lowther Gardens
Description
A few feet of the frontage of 2 Lowther Gardens (now 29 Exhibition Road) stand on a narrow strip of land, formerly belonging to the Commissioners, and which formed a wedge between Exhibition Road and what became the Lowther Lodge Estate. The strip of land was sold by the Commissioners to the Hon. William and Mrs. Lowther in 1874 and is now owned by the Royal Geographical Society. The original conveyance included restrictive covenants.
