Description
Correspondence, 1981-86, between the Commission and its surveyor, the Greater London Council Department of Architecture and Civic Design, the Knightsbridge Association, and Michael Rice and Co, concerning fire precaution work at 1 Lowther Gardens (a listed building) by E.J. Britton and Sons Ltd., electrical engineers and George Brittain and Sons Ltd., building contractors, to comply with the Fire Precaution Act, 1971; the breakdown of costs to be shared between the Commission and Michael Rice and Co; maintenance agreement with Gent Ltd. for the fire alarm system. Detailed plans of alterations and installations.
