In particular the removal of items for display from Kensington Palace to the new museum Building ( South Kensington Museum), the building work still being undertaken at the museum, the planned internal layout of galleries, the possibility of holding an exhibition in the museum in 1857, the provision of lighting on the estate, the demolition of the houses on Brompton Vale and the purchase of Gore Lane from Lord Kensington. |
