DescriptionPrince Albert approves of Cole's plans for Refreshment and Retiring rooms for the South Kensington Museum which he sees as being essential to the scheme. However, Prince Albert defended the Commission's surplus fund from Cole's other plans. As soon as the Commission gain possession of Gore House and Grove House and the others fronting Kensington Road they should immediately be demolished.
