A further donation of three and a half boxes was handed over to Sheffield City Archives, Apr 2006. The bulk of these documents were originally in the possession of Alderson Son & Dust, solicitors of Sheffield and were given to the present donor by his second cousin, who was connected with the firm and who was a descendent of the Rev. William Alderson's brother Christopher.
