| Description | Other administrative records that were created or kept by the Divisional headquarters/Central Registry. These records came from the Central Registry/Records Store but it is not clear which Department kept them or where they had previously been filed.
These include records relating to: the Manvers/Kilnhurst Complex reorganisation including transcripts of proceedings by the Independent Review Body (1987) and; the Houghton Main Colliery explosion (12 Jun 1975) created by the Directorate of Scientific Control, the Health and Safety Executive and the National Coal Board (various Departments).
These also include miscellaneous records created by the 'Area 1-6' General Managers and 'Area 1-6' Departments. These records came from the Central Registry/Records Store but it is not clear which Department kept them (post-1967 reorganisation) or where they had previously been filed. Note there are other 'Area 1-6' records within the NCB collection, but they have been grouped with successor departments (where known). |
