TitleArticles of agreement re use of a bridle way
DescriptionFrancis Foljambe of Aldwark, esquire, with William Spencer of Bramley Grange, esquire, and John Bowdon of Beighton-fields (co. Derby), gentleman. The second parties wishing to use a bridle way from Rawmarsh to Rotherham as a carriage way to carry coals from their colliery in Greasbrook Fields to Munsber Carrs and so forward to the River Dunn, it is now agreed as follows:-

(1) The first party, with the inhabitants of Rawmarsh, agrees to the use of the road for 21 years at an annual rent of 1 guinea and keeping the road in repair.

(2) The second parties agree that they will make a good road, keep it in repair etc.
