| AdminHistory | This school, formerly controlled by Derbyshire Education Committee, opened on the 6th of September 1955, although only the first instalment of the building was complete. The school was a temporary home for the J3 & J4 classes from Rainbow Forge Primary School as well as accepting its own First, Third and Fourth Year classes. The school was intended to absorb future increases in pupil numbers in the area.
The official opening of the school took place on 31 May 1958.
The school was transferred to the control of Sheffield City Council Education Department following boundary changes on 1st April 1967. It closed in 1995. |
