AdminHistoryIt is believed this school opened in 1988 on the site of the former Maud Maxfield School for the Deaf on Ringinglow Road. It catered for boys with emotional and behavioural difficulties, aged 10-16. The school closed on 31 August 1998. A year later the buildings were sold and the land was later developed into a housing estate (Folkwood Grove, etc.)
