TitlePomona Street School, later Porter Croft Church of England Junior Infant, Sheffield
AdminHistoryThe School was originally called Pomona Street School. It was erected by the Sheffield School Board and opened on 8th Jan 1900. It comprised Infant and Junior, and Senior Departments in one large building. In 1942 the departments were amalgamated, then in 1957 the Senior Department was abolished leaving the school, Pomona Street, Junior and Infant School.

At a meeting of the Sub-Committee in Nov 1970 it was resolved to change the schools name to Porter Croft, Junior and Infant School.
