Most of the plans are undated, so dates are, in many cases, inferred. Many of the allotment plans appear to date from c.1920s/1930s. Some are denoted 'allotments for the unemployed' while others show 'wartime plots' (1939 - 1945). Some envelopes contain just one plan; others contain bundles of plans. |
