TitleIndexes to Registers
DescriptionThe indexes give a two-digit reference number, e.g. 9/1. This gives the register entry - the first digit refers to the page number in the register, the second refers to the case file number. Where the second digit is red the entry is for an Inquest case. Where the second digit is black the entry is for a No Inquest “B” case. No Inquest “A” cases are not indexed.

Register of deaths reported, 1974-1978 (CC2/1/1 above) includes its own index.
