The grant was authorized and directed by warrant and confirmed by letters patent and the arms were argent, a chevron pean between three mullets sable, on a chief azure as many bucks heads caboshed or, and for the crest, on a wreath of the colours, a talbot's head couped argent eared gules collared pean; which arms are depicted in the margin of the grant.
