Description | Date: 3 Dec in the 4th year of James II, 1688.
Containing 9 acres 2 roods 20 perches; and also a piece of land, whereon formerly stood a house called Lockesmith's House containing 14 perches; and also four lands lying by Lady Meadowsyde, all which were part of Spittle Farm in the parish of Chesterfield; and also a dole, containing 3 acres 12 perches in a place called Espland, within the hamlet called Hasland in the parish of Chesterfield; also two doles of land called Little [ - ] in Hasland, and a dole of land in Watts Lane in the manor of Newbould aforesaid [reserving timber]; for the term of twenty one years, at the yearly rent of £16 12s 0d, payable halfyearly.
