Situated in the Common Townfield called the West Field at Thorpe Hesley between land of Mr Simpson in the tenure of William Fawden northwards, and land of the Marquess of Rockingham, in the tenure of Richard Marshall southwards, and abutting on enclosed land belonging to Mr Rawson eastwards, and on the Burrhill westwards.
