AdminHistory | It is believed the Yorkshire Brick Company Ltd. was established in the first half of the 19th century; by the 1850s the Company had 40 small brickworks in the North of England with the majority in Yorkshire. In the late 1960s the Company was bought and sold by a number of organisations; it was acquired by British Fuel Company in 1973. Marshalls PLC acquired the Yorkshire Brick Company from British Fuel in 1994. |
