John Bedford (m. Harriet Hawksley, daughter of George Hawksley of Owlerton, d. 22 Oct 1898) had three sons, all of whom were members of the board of the company.

John George Hawksley Bedford (b. 25 Sep 1845 at Sheffield, m. 26 Aug 1885, Isabella Frances Tod, daughter of Mr James Tod, of West Bearford, East Lothian, d. 13 Oct 1914). He was a managing director of John Bedford and Sons Ltd., a member of the Sheffield Club and of the Conservative Club, Edinburgh. For nine years he was an officer in the 4th West Yorkshire Artillery Volunteers, resigning as 2nd captain of the brigade. He was Vice-Consul for Portugal and treasurer of the Sheffield Consular Association.

Married a second time on 20 Nov 1907 to Kate, daughter of Thomas Bowring Carr of Ferriby. J. G. Beresford had three children namely: Kenneth Savile Bedford (b. 15 Nov 1890); Hilda Savile Bedford (b. 19 Nov 1887) and Mildred Savile Bedford (b. 30 Jun 1896).
Henry Hall Bedford (b. 17 Apr 1847 m. 20 Feb 1879 Lucy Danby, daughter of T. Danby of Hibaldstow d. 25 Mar 1930)) was made Chairman of John Bedford & Sons Ltd on the formation of the business into a limited company. He was a member of the Cutlers Company and a Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce. He became Master Cutler in 1907 and was also a Freemason. H.H. Bedford had four children namely: John Bedford (b. 1881); Mary Hall Bedford (b. 1884); Seaton Hall Bedford (b. 1889) and Dorothy Bedford (b. 1890).
