File also includes correspondence from the Larry Newman Action Group which wrote to Maynard on the subject of prisoners' rights (especially Black prisoners), the handling of complaints from prisoners, the question of whether prison officers were being recruited by the National Front and allegations of assault on Mr Larry Newman at Wandsworth Prison by prison officers (later withdrawn). Includes letters and appeals and Home Office response [likely misfiled with international affairs].
