| Description | Founded in August 1932 by Miss W. W. Bowling, matron of the Sheffield Royal Infirmary; managed by a committee of ten elected members. Meetings were held quarterly. Affiliated to the National Council of Nurses, April 1933. It provided windows for the chapel in the Royal Infirmary, including the League Window depicting Florence Nightingale, dedicated on 14 June 1935. |
