| AdminHistory | This working party was appointed at the meeting of Sheffield Area Health Authority's Southern District Management Team on 12 May 1978 to list, to consider the safe-keeping of valuable, historical and artistic items from the Royal Hospital and Royal Infirmary, and to consider what arrangements should be made for them [at the closure of these hospitals]. It reported to the Commissioning Committee. The leading force in this was Dr H T Swan, whose lists of documents gathered together and subsequently passed on to the University Library are numbered NHS20/5/1/1-4. |
