DescriptionRegisters kept under the regulations made by Commissioners in Lunacy 1890 and 1895, which regulations are printed at the front of the first two volumes. The second register also includes an extract from the Commissioners' Rules, 1925, relating to seclusion.
The restraint employed was generally the wearing of a canvas jacket with muffled sleeves for up to 24 hours.
