AdminHistoryTuberculosis became compulsorily notifiable by general order of the Local Government Board from 1 Feb 1913, but the earliest registers have not survived. The later registers were kept under the Public Health (Tuberculosis) Regulations 1930, subsequently the Public Health (Tuberculosis) Regulations 1952.
