Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>He bequeaths to his wife 1/3 part of his messuages, cottages and lands for her life and 1/3 part of his chattels to bring up their children and to divide amongst them as she thinks fit. The remainder of his property and personal estate to his daughters by his first marriage. Monetary bequests to various relatives (named), a servant, and 3 widows in Tiddeswall (named). One house in the occupation of George Furnes to his uncle Richard Townsend for his life and an annuity of 10s. The executors to be Henry Bagshawe of Wormhill, yeoman, Richard Mutchell of Lytton, yeoman, Margarett, his eldest daughter by his first wife, and Roger Tasker of Tiddeswall. 13th Novembe, 1654.</p>
