Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>William Hallsted of Worstorne in the county of Lancaster, yeoman, and John Robert of the Foxe Stones in the same county, yeoman. It is agreed that John Halsted, son of William, and Isabell, daughter of John Robert, shall marry, and in consideration of the marriage it is agreed that William will convey to his son John his capital mease in Worstorne and all his other property there (except for a moiety of 2 houses of one croft and one garden, and the moiety of a close called Heckinhirst to be conveyed to his younger son, William, and the other moiety of the same property to be conveyed to his bastard son, Robert), that a life interest shall be re-conveyed to William Halsted the father, that the property of William the father in Worstorne and Barnoldeswike Cotes in Craven (the jointure of his wife Agnes excepted) shall descend to his son John, that John Halsted and Isabell shall occupy the mease in Worstorne for 7 years or the term of William&apos;s life and that in exchange he may occupy all the property in Barnoldswike Cotes which Isabell is to have from her father, and that John Robert will convey to Isabell and her lawfully begotten heirs with a remainder to the right heirs of the said John (the jointure of his wife Elizabeth excepted) all his portion of the messuages, cottages, lands etc. in Barnoldeswike Cotes (tenants named) lately bought by William Halsted the father, John Robert, and Richard Wodroff of Brunley.</p>
