Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>Thomas Drake of Thorleye Grene in Northowrome to Gilbert, his son, of the same. All his meases, cottages, lands, both freehold and copyhold, for a term of 40 years for the freehold property or the life of the said Thomas, and for a term of 6 years for the copyhold property or the life of the said Thomas. In consideration that the said Thomas and his wife Isabell be maintained with meate, drynke, apparrell, beddyng and other necessaries to their lives, and in consideration of a former gift made by Thomas to his son at the time of Gilbert&apos;s marriage to Johannet, daughter of Robert Boye; paying yearly a red rose if it be asked.</p>
