Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>Henry Lister of Woodhall alias Wooddall Parke [?Near Wetherby], gentleman, to Richard Tattersall of Hollings near Halifax, clothier. A close called Rough Close (lately divided and taken from the Lawne) and a close called the Lowe Close (lately divided into two) which are part of Wooddall alias Woodhall Parke which was granted by Queen Elizabeth to Sir Henry Lindley, knight, and after his decease went to Sir Guie Palmes of Lindley, knight, Thomas Fawkes of Farnell, esquire, and Arthur Lindley of Leathley, esquire, who sold it to Henry Lister and George Lister, his father, now deceased, on 21st June, 1624. To hold of the King as of the manor of East Greenewiche in free socage and at the yearly rent of 6s. 8d. For £70.</p>
