Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>Christopher Lister of Rippon, esquire, to James Browne of Earbie in the parish of Thornton, husbandman. The remainder of a term of years in a messuage farm and tenement, a toft, ½ oxgang of land and meadow and pasture in Earbie leased by Sir William Lister of Thornton in Craven, knight, to his son Christopher for 5,000 years by a deed of 6th September, 1637. For £70, and paying to the heirs of Sir William Lister the ancient free rent of 1d. with suit to court and mill etc.</p>
