Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>Thomas Rawson of Whiston, clerk, to Thomas Burley of Greenhill, gentleman. A messuage or tenement in Greenhill with closes called Upper Stubbin and Nether Stubbin, in the tenure of William Bocking (citing a lease of this property by Edmund West, late of Darley Abbey, esquire, dated September, 1567, now by divers assignments in the hands of Rawson); for the remainder of the term of 800 years, at an annual rent of 5 shillings and tempence to Rawson; in pursuance of the agreement for the marriage of William Burley, son and heir of Thomas Burley and Katherine, daughter of Thomas Rawson, in satisfaction of part of the marriage portion.</p>
