Description | <head>Scope and Content</head><p>Quotes a deed of 21st February last by which William Bagshaw of Ford, esquire, agreed to convey to Richard Bagshaw of Wormhill, esquire, a farm in Wormhill called Brookebotham Farm with various (named) closes in exchange for a yearly fee farm rent of £21 14s. and settles various points concerning charges on the farm, a jointure, a dispute over a wall etc. 3rd April, 1751.</p><p>Conveyance (lease and release). Richard Bagshaw of Wormhill, esquire to William Bagshaw of Ford, esquire. A fee farm rent of £8 10s. and 4 fat capons valued at 4s. payable out of lands in Bowden Edge called Malcalf Moor and Green Lowis, a fee farm rent of £8 payable out of lands in Brown-side called Roch-Clough, a fee farm rent of £3 10s. payable out of lands in Bowden Edge called Cold Burne and Tom Moor, a fee farm rent of payable out of land in Chappell en le Frith called Bolehill and Tom Moor. In accordance with the above award and in exchange for the property in Wormhill of William Bagshaw. 26-27 April 1751. Bond for performance.</p> |
