Description | <head>Scope and Content</head><p>Henry Johnston of Stowmarket, clerk, and William Bagshaw of the Inner Temple, agree (in connection with the agreement by Bagshaw to purchase Hazlehurst in the parish of Norton and all the right and title of Johnston to the reversion of the premises, expectant upon the death of Elizabeth Burley, that if Hannah Johnston shall survive her husband and there shall be issue of the marriage, entitled under their marriage settlement to the rents of the premises, Bagshaw shall retain out of £1600 or such part as shall remain unpaid, such sums of money as shall become due during the joint lives of Hannah and such issue. Johnston binds himself to pay such sums as become due to such issue after his death, in the penal sum of £1000.</p> |
