All Johnston's right, claim and interest in the sum of £1600 agreed to be paid and the premises chargeable with that sum; for £420. Reciting deed of 1737 by which Henry Johnston and Hannah his wife, John Harris, Bishop of Landaff and William Wogan of Ealing conveyed to William Bagshaw the messuage called Haslehurst, for payment of £500 and for securing £1600 and £100 apiece to Jane, Elizabeth, Sarah and Barbara, sisters of Henry Johnson, as left by the will of Nicholas Burley after the decease of Elizabeth Burley (who is still living). Bagshawe has at diverse times advanced the further sum of £840.</p> |
