Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>John Froggatt late of Sheddyard in Beard but now of Park Hall in Glossop, yeoman, to Richard Bagshaw of Castleton, esquire. Moiety of a pasture, part of the barren lands in Edall, parcel of a vaccary of Crowdenlebooth called Thomas Creswell&apos;s sheep pasture, lying between two cloughs called Bowsclough and Sivyerclough, abutting on the River Nooe on the North end, purchased of Edward Ashton, Robert Carrington, John Mellor and Grace his wife and now divided and fenced between John Mellor and Froggatt; to be held of the Crown as of the Manor of Endfield for £144. Warranty against Froggatt and his wife, Elizabeth and excepting a lease to Robert Marshall.</p>
