Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>Richard Higin of Barnoldswick, husbandman, and Margaret, his now wife and only child and executor of Thomas Waite her late father, to Abigael Drake of Manchester, widow. Parcel of ground called the old Lathstead containing twenty falls or perches, with all barns erected or to be erected thereon and sufficient turf, graft or turbary to be taken on Barnoldswick Moor formerly allotted to Richard Bannister (except the three acres of Turbary called Deep Mosse), with licence to digg and gett the same; all of which was leased by Richard Bannister to John Waite, grandfather of Margaret, for 4000 years; for £7 3s. for the residue of the term.</p>
