Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>To be buried in the parish Church of St. John Baptist at Tideswell. To wife Hellen, messuages etc., in Tideswell (except his copyhold property already surrendered to son Adam) bed, blankets, etc., and 1/3 of his household goods. To William his son, Slack Farm and land at Wormhill and beast grasses at Kemshill and Losehill, and the house where he (the son), dwells, called Ford Hall and other property at Chapel, certain specified farm wains, etc., plate and testator&apos;s ring. 20£ to his grandchild Samuel Bagshawe. To his second son John, his messuages and other property in Great Hucklow with the manor and lordship of Gt. Hucklow and right of Lot and Cope, out of which he is to pay £600 to his other sons, Robert and Adam Bagshawe. To Robert, certain property in Hucklow and the house where he dwells. To Adam, all testator&apos;s copyhold property in Tideswell; Adam is also to have a further £700. His mines and groves of lead between his three sons John, Robert and Adam. To his daughter Susannah Barber certain items of furniture and a Coffer which was her mother&apos;s. To his grandchild William Longsdon £30. Residue to be divided between his four sons and his eldest daughter Susannah. William and John to be executors.</p>
