Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>All his property in Norton and Handsworth Woodhouse and a rent charge out of the manor of Leadstone (Yorks.) to his daughter Margaret Newton, who is appointed executrix. Also all money and personal estate, except South Sea Stock, which is to be for payment of legacies etc., and the overplus to be divided between his daughters, Margaret Newton, Anne Wingfield, daughter Bagshaw, daughter Shaw and daughter Wildman. Bequests to his grandsons, Robert Newton, William Shaw and Wingfield Wildman, to his sister Mrs. Turner, and others.</p><p>1 March, 1730/1.</p><p>Codicil, relating to the South Sea stock, 26 January, 1731/2.</p>
