Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>The messuage house with two barns and a stable etc., where he dwells, with the household goods, to his wife Catherine for life and then to his brother, Edward Bradwall of Tideswell (his wife to forfeit the household goods to Edward if she wastes them). Also to his wife, the tenant right in a farm called the Edge and several parcels of land and then to Edward. She is also to have a horse and cow. His groves of lead to be sold and 2/3 of purchase money to Edward, and 1/3 to Catherine who is to pay certain sums to her daughters, Martha wife of Adam Barber and Mary the wife of Robert Middleton and to her Charlesworth grandchildren. To his brother Hugh Bradwall of the city of London, barber-chirugion, a messuage in Bradwall lately purchased of the said Hugh. Bequests to his sisters Annice, the wife of Peter Bagshaw of Abney Grange, Mary, the wife of John Barber of Castleton and Elizabeth, the wife of George Trevis, to Dorothy Charlesworth `my grandchild&apos; and to Rowland Middleton, the younger. Edward Brudswall to be executor.</p>
