Description | <head>Scope and Content</head><p>Frances Inge, widow, of Thorpe Constantine (co. Stafford), William Inge of Thorpe Constantine, her eldest son, Sir Robert Burdett, of Bramcoate (co. Warwick) and Thomas Cresley of Lullington (trustees under the settlement of the marriage of Wm. Inge deceased and the said Francis) and John Warner of Leicester (as Mortgagee) to John Brown of Leacroft and other parties. The manor of Thorpe Constantine with the advowson of the parish church and property in Thorpe Constantine, Brannston Fryth, Knighton, Orton upon the Hill, Norton near Twycross le Grange, Tunsted, Gretterix, Green Fairfield and in Leicester, that the said John Brown shall be tenant to suffer a recovery to stated uses in consideration of the marriage of William Inge and Elizabeth Phillips, spinster, of Newton Regis or Newton in the Thistles (co. Warwick) and discharging the estates charged with £3,900 by previous settlements and mortgage. The Leicester and Derbyshire estates to be sold for discharging the debts.</p> |
