Recites a deed of 21st July, 1599 by which George Parker of Weetlandes, yeoman, leases to Bryan Lowther and John Milner of Whittwell, gentlemen, the messuage called Weetlandes, with closes called Overweetlandes, Netherweetlandes, Overmoorecroft, and Nethermoorecroft, for a term of 21 years paying yearly 2s. 6d. to the chief lord, 3s. to Anthony, brother of George while their father, John lives, but if their father should die, then 17s. annually, to Anthony; recites further the assignment of the lease on 2nd April, 1600 to Edward Wilson; he assigns his right to the residue of the term of years for £64.</p> |
