Recites a deed of 2nd May, 1596 by which Philip Bate mortgaged 2 closed in Greenhill, the Lea and Farr Croft, to the father of James for £12, and the forfeiture of the closes for non-payment. James assigns the residue of the term of 800 years in Farr Croft for £3 and a quit claim by Grace of all her right and title in the Lea.</p> |
