Description<head>Scope and Content</head><p>William Hudson of Syckhouse, yeoman, to Henry Mawre of Little Norton, husbandman, and Richard Attkin of Hymsworth, weaver. In consideration of the intended marriage between William and Hellen, daughter of Robert Rollinson of Heardings, yeoman, and to provide a jointure. The messuage called Sickhouse wherein William lives, a close on its north side (the east end of North Croft), Well Croft Close at its east end, a piece of land called the Lane, Innfeild Close, Cockshutt Meddwe, and 9 selions in Over Whisnowe field. To the use of William for his life, and then to the use of Hellen, and after her decease to the use of their lawfully begotten heirs, and then to the use of the lawfully begotten heirs of William, with remainder to his right heirs.</p>
